Suranne Jones
Sarah Anne Jones (also known as Suranne Jones) is an British actress and producer. Suranne Jones, an actor and producer from England. The actress gained notoriety for her character Ruth Slater, the detective in a procedural police drama "Scott & Bailey and in addition to Gemma Foster, the GP in a medical drama 'Doctor Foster.' Jones originates was born in Chadderton within Greater Manchester, joined Oldham Theatre Workshop at the age of eight, where she was awarded her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. She began performing on stage when she was eight years older, and was the lead character Gloria in the production "Wait until Dark,". She made her debut on screen in 1997 playing a character in an episode of "Coronation Street". The show returned in 2000 for her perform the role of Karen McDonald. After leaving the ITV soap, she was cast in a number of TV programs like 'Vincent 'Strictly Confidential', and the 'Harley Street'. In movies like 'Broken Hearts and A Christmas Star', the Christmas Star and the film Love and a Long Shot she was cast in several roles.
